PSAT for Juniors and Sophomores: The PSAT/NMSC is a program cosponsored by the College Board and National Merit Scholarship Corporation. It's a standardized test that provides firsthand practice for the SAT. It also gives you a chance to enter NMSC scholarship programs and gain access to college and career planning tools. PSAT 8/9 for Freshmen: The PSAT 8/9® is the first test in the SAT Suite of Assessments. Students will be assessed in the following areas: Reading, Writing and Language, and Math. This test will provide vital feedback for both families and educators on student’s strengths and areas of need.
