Bursar Information

Fees are an accepted and necessary reality in education, and are vital to each assigned program or course. Specific to selected courses, we rely on them to offset program costs while striving for fiscal responsibility in the district.  If fee balances and/or lunch balances are outstanding, participation in non-academic activities such as (but not limited to) parking passes; Senior Pass; Junior Pass; club field trips; Senior Project; Homecoming Dance; Prom, or any activity that would be considered extra-curricular, will be denied.

The High school no longer prints fee notices. If you have a specific question or need a fee notice printed please contact Laura Hout (laura.hout@avonlakecityschools.org) or 440-933-6290 ext. 1548.

 

Payment Options

You may pay student fees online at https://www.payforitnet.  There is a 3.9% Convenience Fee for all credit card transactions or a flat fee of $1.75 for all ACH (Electronic Check) transactions charged to the card user.

 

Payments may also be made by check or money order. Make checks payable to ALHS.  Fee envelopes are located outside of the main office. Place fee envelope, complete with student’s name and fee category (i.e. Student Fees or Pay-to-Participate) in the Payment Depository to the right of the main office or mailed to the address below:

Lunch Account

To view your student(s) lunch account balance or make an online payment login to www.myschoolaccount.com. Payments can also be made by check or money order.  Make checks payable to ALHS. Lunch envelopes are located outside the main office. Place envelope in the Payment Depository to the right of the main office. If there are any questions regarding your lunch account please contact the district office at 440-933-6210.  Free/Reduced application

 

Pay-to-Participate

The fee is $300 per student per year to participate in any sport at the high school.  There is a District Family Cap of $400 for families with more than one High School and/or Learwood Middle student participating in sports.

Parking Permits

A parking permit application can be found on the Avon Lake High School website.  Click on Parents and Students and click Forms. or here.

  1. Attach a COPY of your valid Ohio Driver's License.

  2. Attach a COPY of your up-to-date auto insurance card.

  3. There is a $20.00 parking fee.  Please include cash (exact change) or a check payable to Avon Lake High School.

 

Place all of the above items in designated “ALHS PARKING PASS” envelope located by the Payment Depository which is to the right of the main office. Complete the front of the envelope with your name and grade and drop it in the Payment Depository.  Permits can be picked up at the main office on August 15, 2019.

 

Students are not permitted to park on campus without a valid parking permit.  If a student does so without a permit a $20.00 parking fee will be automatically added to your fee account.
