Pre-K and Kindergarten Registration

Registration for all other grade levels will Open March 2, 2026

Intra-District Enrollment Application for the 2026-2027 school year opens January 30, 2026

If you are interested in enrolling your child for either our pre-school (LEAPS) program or kindergarten, take a moment to review the following:

  • Pre-School (LEAPS): If registering AFTER August 1 of the academic year, you must be pre-approved PRIOR to starting the registration process. Please contact Ms. Stacey Vince LEAPS Supervisor, at 440-930-8226 with any questions you may have.
  • Kindergarten: Your student must be 5 years of age ON OR BEFORE the first day of school of the academic year you are enrolling in. Calendars for the 2026-2027 school year are being presented at the January Board of Education Meeting.

All students new to the district start the registration process online. Registration is not considered complete until all required documents are received by the Office of the Registrar. Please ensure you are in the correct academic year when registering your incoming new student.

When Avon Lake City Schools are closed due to a calamity day, the Office of the Registrar will also be closed.
