Classical music and dining go well together, as this musical choice promotes relaxation and improves culinary enjoyment. Students enjoyed these and other perks while savoring their formal classical lunch during Tuxes and Tunes on Wednesday, February 18th.  True to its name, students were encouraged to wear their best attire and brightest smiles as they enjoyed a performance by the Avon Lake High School Orchestra during their respective lunch periods. Students who purchased a lunch that day were served by parent volunteers. Beautiful music filled the cafeteria as students enjoyed their midday meal, serving as the most special treat of all. After lunch was concluded, students had the opportunity to meet with members of the orchestra and become familiar with the various stringed instruments. Thank you to our dedicated ALCS staff members who organized this captivating event, to our ALHS Orchestra Members for their time and talents, and for the parent volunteers for serving the students!
