Request for Qualifications: Design Professional Services for Facilities Master Plan Project
The Avon Lake City School District Board of Education is accepting qualifications from design professionals to provide facilities master planning services, including planning and programming, as well as project design and construction administration, for its Facilities Master Planning Project. Request for Qualifications: Tennis Court Renovation Project - CLOSED
The Avon Lake City School District Board of Education is accepting qualifications from design professionals to provide design services for a Tennis Court Renovation Project. The Project is anticipated to include the design and renovation of the District’s existing tennis courts. Interested firms may request an RFQ from Dr. Ned Lauver, Director of Operations, at ned.lauver@avonlakecityschools.org or click here for the document. Qualifications will be accepted until 12:00 p.m. local time, October 13, 2023.
Update: Behnke Landscape Architecture was selected as the most qualified firm for this project.
Request for Proposals: Security Camera Project (District-Wide) - CLOSED
The Avon Lake City School District is accepting proposals from firms to install security cameras at seven (7) locations in the Avon Lake City School District. Interested firms may request an RFP from Ned Lauver, Director of Operations, at Ned.Lauver@alcsoh.org. Proposals will be accepted until 1:00 p.m., local time, February 13th, 2023.
For safety and security reasons, the RFP will not be publicly posted on this page.
A pre-proposal meeting was held at the Avon Lake City School District Office, located at 175 Avon Belden Road, Avon Lake, Ohio 44012 on January 23rd, 2023 at 12:00 p.m. (Noon), local time.
Update: At the March 14th, 2023 regular Board meeting, the proposal from Redshift Technologies was accepted for this project.
Request for Proposals (Formal Bid): School Transportation Van - CLOSED
Sealed bids will be received by the Board of Education of the Avon Lake City School District for one (1) school transportation van. The bids will be received at the Treasurer’s Office, 175 Avon Belden Road until 12:00 p.m., Noon, local time on Monday, January 30th, 2023, and will be read publicly and recorded immediately thereafter. Late bids will not be accepted and will be returned unopened. Faxed and/or emailed bids are not permitted.

Update: The bid opening was held at Noon on January 30th, 2023, at the Board of Education Office. At the February 14th, 2023 regular Board meeting, the bid from Nick Mayer Ford Lincoln was accepted.
