News - Redwood Arrival/ Dismissal Procedures

Published on

Welcome back to the 2025-2026 school year.  As we begin this year I wanted to take a minute to remind everyone of the arrival and dismissal procedures.

Arrival:

The first bell rings at 8:35, students will not be permitted into the building prior to this time.  If students are walking they should enter through the doors closest to the playground on the east side of the building.  If you are parking and walking your child to the door, please park in the northwest front parking lot off of Redwood, and walk your student to the doors.

If you are using the car line to drop your student off, enter off of Redwood and pull all the way forward in the front loop (please do not stop in front of the doors).   Your student should be able to unbuckle their seatbelt and open the door on their own if using this option.  Students should exit the car on the passenger side of the vehicle only.

Dismissal:

If students are walking  at the end of the day they will be dismissed from the doors closest to the playground.  If you are parking to pick up your walker you should park in the front northwest lot closest to Redwood.

If you are driving and using the car line to pick up your student you will enter the car line from Moorewood at the rear of the building's back parking lot. (please see detailed information below for end of day pick up only, the car tag will be in your students take home folder).  For the first day, if you do not have a car tag from last year, please write your students name large and dark on a piece of paper.

Bussing:  all information on bussing can be found on the school website.
