Avon Lake City Schools Community!
We did it!!
On behalf of everyone in the Avon Lake City Schools, thank you to the community for your support of Issue 16, our bond issue to construct a new Grade 5 – 8 building at Learwood and renovate Eastview, Redwood, and Westview, and also of Issue 17, our operating levy. The belief you have in the vision for our future to make the ALCS an ALite school district is truly demonstrated with outcomes like this, and I express my gratitude to the citizens for becoming informed about these issues and exercising their civic responsibility at the polls. The school district is so positively impacted with yesterday’s results, and our students are certain to have an even brighter future because of your support.
There’s more and exciting work in the days ahead. Our district leadership will remain focused on continued fiscal responsibility and also engagement as we begin the process to plan for a new facility! You will continue hearing from us, and we want to hear from you too!
