Avon Lake City Schools will host a groundbreaking ceremony on Monday, June 1st, 2026, at 10 a.m. at Learwood for the purpose of marking this next milestone in the construction process. Dignitaries, community leaders, selected students and staff will be among the first to shovel the initial scoops of earth in the direction of progress for this exciting new building project. You’re invited to join us on the morning of June 1st to take pictures and imagine the future. Hope to see you there!
