News - ALHS Students Attend Model UN Conference in Chicago

Twenty students from the ALHS Model UN group had a special opportunity to join 3,000 high school peers from around the globe at the Model United Nations National Conference from February 5^th – 8^th in Chicago. The event provided an experiential forum that simulated the United Nations and incorporated global issues. Our ALHS students represented themselves and their school with pride while working on building confidence as public speakers, critical thinkers, and globally conscious leaders. Thank you to our ALHS teachers and staff for providing our students with this unique, real-world learning experience.
