News - Westview Student Council and K-Kids Sponsor Stuffed Animal Drive

A special thank you goes out to all individuals who helped make a stuffed animal donation during the drive that recently took place at Westview Elementary School during the earlier part of this month. Student Council and K-Kids worked in partnership to provide their fellow students with an opportunity to accumulate stuffed furry creatures for a good cause. New small-to-medium sized stuffed animals collected will be donated in the near future to the Zelma George Family Shelter Children’s Center in Cleveland. A special word of thanks is extended to Julie Norris, Liz Minnish, and Grace Lada, for playing an important role in the initiative. On behalf of everyone in the Avon Lake City Schools, thank you to those who took time to donate stuffed animals. Your contribution goes to making someone else’s day a little brighter.
