News - ALHS Showcases School Pride at Homecoming Spirit Rally
Published on
The Avon Lake High School gym was filled with energy, excitement, and tremendous school pride during an unforgettable 2025 Homecoming Spirit Rally on Friday, September 26th. In addition to the proud maroon and gold school colors, each class wore different themed spirit wear, with the freshmen class wearing tie-dye shirts and sophomores representing their class with black and orange gear, while juniors showed off their Hawaiian shirts and seniors wore all-white tops. The rally kicked off with a spirited volleyball match between the staff and students which resulted in a victory by ALHS staff! Students and staff alike were then energized by a series of electric performances by the ALHS Marching Band and Cheerleaders. Members of the 2025 Homecoming Court along with senior class members of fall sports teams were then recognized. The ALHS Dance Team delivered an impressive performance which was followed by a series of unforgettable Spirt Point Activities including Loudest Cheer, relay races, scavenger hunt, and tug-of-war. A special thank you to all ALHS staff who helped to organize and coordinate this school-pride-filled experience for our students! Go Shoremen and Go Shoregals!
