Chromebook Tips: Will NOT turn ON!

Please make sure Charger is fully inserted into the Chromebook via USB-C, and into an active power outlet. An indicator light will turn on when power is being supplied to the Chromebook. Typically orange or amber to indicate charging, and white to indicate a full charge.

After your Chromebook has had time to charge the battery, and is still NOT turning on, it may be hibernating. To Wake Up your Chromebook, plug your Charger into your Chromebook, then on your Chromebook keyboard press the Refresh key ↻ and power button at the same time to initiate a reboot. If your Chromebook does not wake up, it will need to be serviced.

Hard Restart

Press the Refresh key ↻ and power button at the same time to perform a hard restart. Any unsaved data will be lost.
