Troy News - Magical Science Show at Troy Intermediate

A special visit and educational learning performance took place at Troy Intermediate School, presented by Professor Dr. Regan “Reggie” Silvestri, from Lorain County Community College earlier this week entitled Magical Science. Professor Reggie’s presentation included how hydrochloride acid and other chemicals help create a rainbow effect, and chemical reactions can turn water into solids. By day, Dr. Regan Silvestri is a full-time chemistry professor at LCCC, who moonlights as a fun but instructional guest teacher to children across the region. Special thanks goes out to Professor Reggie for visiting Troy Intermediate earlier this week, and sharing insights, special experiments, and other fun exercises.
