Redwood students watch nature assembly in gym

Students at Redwood Elementary recently explored the various types of wildlife and habitats native to Ohio through an interactive assembly provided by the Lorain County Metroparks. The Wildlife Assembly Program featured a variety of interactions with natural artifacts and live animal demonstrations. Students had the opportunity to view an assortment of wildlife including a turtle and rat snake and feel the exterior of a large empty turtle shell, in addition to other hands-on experiences. A special thank you to the Redwood Elementary PTA for sponsoring this exciting student learning experience.
