News - Preschool Students Perform with Learwood Cheerleaders

The Learwood Middle School Winter Cheerleading squad recently provided encouragement and inspiration to their junior cheerleader counterparts from the Pre-School Sports program with a joint performance at the boys basketball game on February 17, 2026, at Learwood. Throughout the game and at halftime, the Learwood and Preschool cheerleaders shared their talents and enthusiasm as they cheered on the Shoremen! The Avon Lake Preschool Sports program is coordinated by Mr. Craig Collins and provides children ages 3-5 the opportunity to participate in and learn a variety of team sports, including basketball, tee-ball, soccer, and more. Thank you to the members of the Learwood Cheerleading squad for investing in the next generation of students and helping to build ALegacy at Learwood!
