News - Avon Lake High School Partners with American Heart Association & CPR Kit Gift

Published on

Avon Lake High School has developed a partnership with the American Heart Association, along with our local Meijer’s Grocers, in recently accepting a CPR Kit gift that will help add meaningful educational opportunities to our students and staff, and enhance safety in our school building. This CPR Kit gift included a variety of medical resources including supplies, a mini-Annie training prop, and instructional manuals. In short, this CPR kit will permit hundreds of users to become trained and equipped with lifesaving skills in the event of an emergency. Recently, ALHS Principal Michael May visited our local Meijer’s Grocers, along with Christie Sullivan, from the American Heart Association’s School Engagement Team, to express the district's gratitude. The Avon Lake City Schools is consistently on the lookout for meaningful partnerships that aligns the needs of students and staff with local businesses and non-profit organizations. Thank you to everyone who helped make this donation possible.
