ALCS May Newsletter
I would like to Welcome You to the Learwood Middle School 2022-2023 School Year! The start of each school year is exciting and special, as we get to meet new students and also see how our 8th graders have changed in just three months.
Middle school is an adventurous time for all students, as they start to learn about themselves socially and emotionally, while work towards academic excellence. Our staff understands this, and we strongly believe in Designing and implementing a model to incorporate middle level philosophies and strategies in order to improve curriculum, differentiation, collaboration, and student growth. We encourage and help students become better communicators, creative thinkers, collaborators, and critical thinkers.
Each month you will find a newsletter with information celebrating our students and keeping you in the loop of what is happening at Learwood and within the Avon Lake City Schools. If you miss a newsletter or message, you will be able to find them through the Newsletter and More tab above. For additional information, you can follow me on Twitter @V_Nuggud.
We look forward to year another fun and exciting year. Go Shoremen and Shoregals!
Sincerely,
Dr. Nuggud
