Erieview students enjoy lunch wearing dress clothes

Lunch periods at Erieview Elementary School were transformed into an exciting and elegant atmosphere on Wednesday, February 12, 2025, as part of the Classical Lunch event. Organized by staff members on the Best Effort Committee, the Classical Lunch program provided students with the unique opportunity to dress up and enjoy a performance by the Avon Lake High School Orchestra during their assigned lunch times. Prior to the event, teachers reviewed proper lunchroom manner expectations with their students, which included using “please” and “thank you” to peers and parent volunteers, using quiet voices, no elbows on the table, waiting to eat until everyone has their lunch available, and raising their hand if they needed assistance. Students not only enjoyed the beautiful classical music but also had the opportunity to view, hold, and even play some of the stringed instruments! Throughout the program, students demonstrated excellent behavior and etiquette and enjoyed the special atmosphere. Thank you to the Best Effort Committee members, parent volunteers, and Avon Lake High School Orchestra for providing a wonderful learning experience for our students.
