Avon Lake High School was recently awarded with the esteemed recognition by U.S. News and World Report for being among the best high schools in the State of Ohio and beyond. Earning a #1 ranking in Lorain County, Avon Lake High School also achieved a #10 ranking in the Cleveland Metropolitan area, #36 in the State of Ohio, and #899 in the entire country. By earning a national ranking in the top 40%, Avon Lake High School achieved status as a U.S. News Best High School. Such a high level of merit and recognition for Avon Lake High School demonstrates the talent and hard work of our students, our families, and the teachers and staff at not only the High School, but all buildings in our entire district.
