News - ALHS Anchor News Now Broadcast Wins Honors

The district's talented and student-run broadcast team, Anchor News Now, is returning from the 2026 STN Convention in Tampa, Florida, with first place honors for their creation of a film entitled "Pause," and 2nd place honors for a movie trailer entitled, "And So It Begins." Our very own students represented on a national stage and learned about storytelling across various forms of media and gained inspiration from more than 200 participating schools at this national conference. Congratulations to our Anchor News Now students and advisors for this accomplishment!
