News - NEHS Members Read with Eastview Students

On Thursday, October 30, 2025, members of the Avon Lake High School chapter of the National English Honor Society visited Eastview Elementary School for a special time of reading. The NEHS members read to small groups of elementary students inside classrooms and in the nearby hallway area during the morning. From children’s book classics such as Clifford and the Arthur series, to newer favorites such as titles featuring Pete the Cat, the event provided meaningful interactions between different age groups while celebrating a love of reading. A special thank you to NEHS members at Avon Lake High School for encouraging and visiting with our elementary students.
