ALHS Senior Kenji Huls recently delivered a presentation on October 7th to members of the North Coast Rotary Club and Foundation about his experience attending the Rotary International World Affairs Seminar. The week-long summer camp took place June 21 – 27 at Carroll University in Waukesha, WI, and provided high school students from across the country the opportunity to engage with current global issues through collaborative diplomacy situations and attend presentations by experts from government, international organizations, the media, and business fields. The annual World Affairs Seminar seeks to help students gain a greater understanding of international conflicts and develop the diplomatic skills necessary to promote the program’s theme of Peacebuilding: Creating Lasting Change. Congratulations, Kenji for demonstrating leadership and proudly representing the Avon Lake City Schools!
