On the very final Friday of October, Avon Lake Superintendent Joelle M. Magyar made a special visit to Eastview Elementary School, where she greeted all of the students as they began their school day. Once arrived, she then joined a very cheerful gathering of kindergarten students in the library, where everyone engaged in meaningful interactions and fun. The visitation included a brief chat with students, a book reading, and an overall feeling of positivity. Upon sitting in front of the class, Superintendent Magyar asked kindergarten students if they knew the role of a superintendent in a school district. Many students provided animated answers! Then, a tasty children’s story about pasta and spaghetti and meatballs was read to the students. In all, Superintendent Magyar enjoys these visits very much and loves the opportunity to delightfully engage with the district’s students. Thanks to all!
