News - Westview PTA Sponsors Scholastic Book Fair to Cultivate Students' Love of Reading

Students at Westview Elementary nurtured their love of reading at the PTA sponsored Scholastic Book fair, held during the week of September 30th. Scholastic offers students an exciting opportunity to shop for books of varying genres and interests while raising funds for the school. Students perused the shelves and shopped for books to read at home during their library class time. The devoted PTA volunteers helped students browse, shop, and savor the experience of selecting new reading material. This was an excellent way for parents to get involved, enrich their student’s learning experience, and help cultivate their love of reading. Thank you to all the volunteers and administrators who partnered together to plan this fun event!
