Avon Lake City Schools Superintendent Joelle Magyar, Assistant Superintendent Dr. Jack Dibee, Treasurer Autumn Reed, and Director of Operations Ned Lauver have hosted two of several planned Coffee Talks where citizens can stop by during the scheduled times and have an informal conversation with school officials about various topics concerning the district. The first was hosted at Emilie’s Coffee House on June 13th and the second took place at Rio Coffee Brewery on Wednesday, June 26th. Community members and parents visited the coffee talks and participated in several conversations with various administrators about topics on their respective mind. The effort underscores Superintendent Magyar’s desire to be in the community and accessible as topics and questions emerge. Future coffee talks will also be taking place on Wednesday, August 7th at McDonalds on Walker Road and Wednesday, August 14th at The Kitchen on Walker Road, all of which are 9 a.m. – 10 a.m. at the specified locations. Come and join us!
