Dear Parent or Guardian,

Due to the increase in positive cases and quarantines, which has affected our ability to adequately staff the building, Troy Intermediate School will be closed tomorrow, Monday, November 16, 2020. This includes all in-person and remote students at Troy.  All other Avon Lake City School District buildings will remain open.

Beginning Tuesday, November 17, 2020 through Thanksgiving break, Troy Intermediate School will be on full remote learning.  As of this time, all other schools will continue to offer in-person learning.

Those students who attend Troy will be permitted to come to the building tomorrow during normal school hours to pick up their schedules, personal belongings, Chromebook and instructional materials. Parents will not be allowed to enter the building, students only.

If your child will be taking a school Chromebook, and you have not completed the Chromebook Sign Out link, please do so.

We will provide an opportunity for all students to pick up a school lunch each day during remote learning.  Lunches will be available for pickup tomorrow beginning at 10:30 a.m.

Mr. Peltz will be communicating additional information to families tomorrow.

Thank you for your continued support.

Sincerely,
Bob Scott, Superintendent
Dr. Jack Dibee, Curriculum Director
