Learwood News - Learwood Students Recognized at Dream Team Breakfast

Every quarter, several students are recognized at Learwood Middle School for demonstrating exceptional cooperation with peers, displaying enthusiasm in daily interactions, and putting forth extra effort needed to advance their academics and/or participation in the classroom. These students who go above and beyond are endearingly called “Dream Teamers.” Typically, one seventh and one eighth grade student is selected each quarter by the Essentials Team of teachers, comprised of those teaching Art, Physical Education, Technology, Computer, Band, Orchestra, Choir, Spanish, French, and Life Skills. The deserving Dream Teamers are awarded with a certificate and treated to a breakfast graciously prepared by the teachers. To close out the first quarter, the Dream Team recognition breakfast was held on Friday, October 17^th. Recipients were treated to a scrumptious breakfast of pancakes, sausage, fresh fruit, and juice in the company of their Essentials teachers, who commended the students and discussed why they were selected for this award. Congratulations to our Quarter 1 Dream Team honorees below who are striving to be their absolute best and displaying immense effort in their Essentials classes and beyond. Thank you to the teachers who are continuously supporting and guiding them on this formative journey.
