2026-2027 Back to School Information

The first day of school for the 2026-2027 school year is next Tuesday, August 18th for students in grades 1st through 12th. Kindergarten and PreK students will begin on Thursday, August 20th. Please see below regarding important back-to-school information. We look forward to welcoming our students back soon for another year of learning and growth!
ALCS Receives Excellence in Financial Reporting Award

The Association of School Business Officials International (ASBO) recently honored the Avon Lake City Schools with the prestigious Certificate of Excellence in Financial Reporting Award. This honor recognizes school districts that uphold the highest standards of financial reporting and literacy. Congratulations to Treasurer Autumn Reed, the Treasurer’s Office Staff, and everyone who plays a role in making the financial transparency a very top priority in this district.
