Technology 7th Grade
Content Overview:
Technology is designed for students to acquire technical knowledge and skills through small group hands-on activities. These activities emphasize creativity and problem-solving skills.
Seventh grade technology students cover a variety of topics. Some of these topics include:

inventions, innovations and the impact of technological advances on society

basic drawing skills and measurement

programming

3d design and modeling

the engineering design process and problem solving

basics of graphic design and the laser engraver

Assessments:
Formative and summative assessments using classwork, projects and tests are completed during the 9 weeks.
