YOUR opportunity to support the Avon Lake City Schools Foundation!

Last year the Community Foundation of Lorain County hosted its second Connect to a Cause Day, a 12-hour crowdfunding campaign that generated over $277K for participating non-profits. This year is promising to be an even more exciting event, with the opportunity for Lorain County residents to support the non-profit organizations that matter most to you.
On September 15, from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., the Avon Lake City Schools Foundation will have the chance to receive additional dollars based on the amount raised. We ask that you consider a donation to the Avon Lake City Schools Foundation on September 15 through peoplewhocare.org to help us leverage potential additional donations and dollars.
The Avon Lake City Schools Foundation was founded over 35 years ago to raise funds to enrich the educational experience of the students in the Avon Lake City Schools. Since its inception, the Foundation has provided over $330,000 in grants to all the schools in the district. Recent grants have made possible for the district: 3D printers, wellness equipment, VEX Robotics kits, instruments for music classes, and a renewable energy science lab. Your donation will help us continue to support innovative opportunities for the students in the Avon Lake City Schools.
