News - Memorial Day Parade - Redwood PTA

 

From Your Redwood PTA:

**Let's end the 2020-2021 school with a parade! We have been given approval to participate and walk in the annual Avon Lake Memorial Day Parade. It will take place on 5/31 at 10am beginning at Avon Lake HS and end with a ceremony at Veterans Memorial Park. **Please RSVP by 5/14 with the number of family members who will be walking.**

Here are the details:

Meet:  Avon Lake HS at 9:15am

Parade: Begins at 10am and ends at Veterans Memorial Park (ceremony to start at 10:45)

Patriotic Theme: "With Liberty and Reading for all" Come dressed in all things red, white and blue! 

 

**A few important safety items**

MASKS MUST BE WORN AT ALL TIMES WHILE IN THE PARADE.

NO PETS ARE ALLOWED.

EVERY CHILD MUST HAVE AN ADULT WALKING WITH THEM DURING THE PARADE.

AT THIS TIME, NO CANDY WILL BE THROWN BY PARTICIPANTS PER THE MAYOR'S OFFICE.
