News - Schoolmanji Adventure at Eastview
Published on

Eastview Elementary recently wrapped up “Schoolmanji”, an exciting school-wide adventure which involved students and staff working together to solve daily challenges using clues from episodes broadcast daily over the PA system. Principal Franko and staff played the various characters from the story on each broadcast. Classes submitted daily responses based on the clues from each day’s episode with each class receiving a special prize of a pencil with an animal topper.
The Eastview PTA played a key role in the adventure by placing Halloween themed decor along with decorations of various characters from popular culture around the building. PTA members also surprised students by appearing in blow-up costumes during recess! The “Schoolmanji” adventure also provided the entire school an opportunity to use their best detective skills to crack the case and find the answer to the mystery of the person and motive behind the series of spooky events!
The building-wide experience was a fun reward for students filling up their classroom’s SAIL jars by demonstrating the positive character traits of Safe, Accountable, Integrity, and Leader during the first quarter. Congratulations to our Eastview students for a job well done and a special thank you to the Eastview PTA for their support of this building-wide “Schoolmanji” adventure!
