News - Avon Lake Senior Luke Slogar Rolls Perfect Game, Bowlers Win NSBC Tournament

Congratulations to Avon Lake High School senior Luke Slogar, who rolled a 300 score, helping propel the varsity boys bowling team to the North Shore Bowling Conference title this past weekend. You can see you a video of the moment he goes perfect! His perfect game led the team to earn more total pins than all other tourney participants, and in the process, secure their second title in the last three years. Other outstanding performances were turned in by senior Jeffrey Toth, junior William Sindelar, sophomore Chris Richard, and freshman Cooper Poling, who all eclipsed a 600 series for their three-game matches. Winning the NSBC Tournament serves as an important preparation for the upcoming Southwest Conference Tournament which takes place during the weekend of February 6th – 8th and the start of state tournament play the following weekend.
