News - Eastview Elementary School Receives Silver PBIS Award

Congratulations to Eastview Elementary School on being granted the 2023-2024 Silver Award by the Ohio PBIS Network and State Support Team 2, which serves Erie, Huron, and Lorain Counties. Eastview Elementary, along with 128 other schools across the state, received this recognition for its excellent implementation of school-wide PBIS programming. Positive Behavioral Interventions & Supports, or PBIS is a framework that guides school teams in the selection, integration, and implementation of evidence-based practices for improving academic, social, and behavioral outcomes for all students. In addition, PBIS programs provide support to students, families, and educators and help students by focusing on their strengths and building on their confidence to succeed. Thank you to the dedicated Eastview Elementary PBIS team for implementing and continuously perfecting the school’s PBIS program and providing an edifying, enriching, and positive learning environment for the student body!
