Erieview student holds a chinchilla during Jungle Terry assembly

Erieview students were treated to an up-close look at interesting and exotic animals during assemblies presented by Jungle Terry and Friends on Friday, November 8th. During the assembly, students viewed and learned about animals, reptiles, and amphibians from all over the world, including an African Pygmy Hedgehog, Australian Tree Frog, African turtle, ferret, chinchilla, and more. Several inquisitive students were selected as volunteers to hold some of the featured animals. The presentation also showcased several snakes, including a python which several teacher volunteers held to the cheers and delight of the students. At the conclusion of each assembly, students were able to briefly pet the large python as they headed back to their respective classrooms. Thank you to Jungle Terry and Friends for providing Erieview students with an unforgettable educational experience!
