News - Board of Education Approved Revisions to the 2022-2023 School Year Calendar

Dear Avon Lake Schools Community,

 

At their meeting held on February 8, 2022, the Board of Education approved revisions to the 2022-2023 school year calendar for Avon Lake City Schools.  The revisions approved are:

 

• revising the Winter Break start date (to December 21, 2022) and end date (to January 2, 2023);

• adding a Teacher and Tutor In-service Day on January 3, 2023 (no school for students);

• moving the Last Day of School for K-11 Students from June 1, 2023 to June 2, 2023;

• adding Commencement Rain Dates on June 3, 2023 and June 4, 2023; and

• moving the Teacher and Tutor In-service Day from June 2, 2023 to June 5, 2023.
