News - ALCS Students Participate in Special Olympics

On Friday morning, May 8th, Avon Lake City Schools was proudly represented at the 44th Annual Special Olympics hosted by Elyria City Schools at Ely Stadium. Over eight-hundred students from sixteen school districts participated in the highly anticipated annual event. The competition included javelin throw, long jump, and running events in addition to orthopedically handicapped activities.
