Learwood PTA

Welcome to the Learwood PTA 

Thanks for your interest in supporting Learwood students.  I invite each of you to become involved in activities for Learwood.  You can chaperone a dance, send in a donation for the cookie walk, sell pizza or pop at a dance, serve ice cream to 8th graders in May, or help out promoting the Reflections Creative Arts Fair.  We have lots of other ways for you to get involved.  The Learwood PTA meets on the 2nd Thursday of each month (except no meeting in December, or over the summer.)  The PTA meeting is at 9:00 a.m., usually in the Learwood cafeteria.  We discuss the current and upcoming activities, recent legislation, and other community events.  Usually either Ms. Ramsay, Learwood Principal, or Mr. Cocco, Asst. Principal, attend to give us updates on the curriculum or events going on at Learwood.  If you can't attend a meeting, our minutes are available through the newsletter, email, or on the website.  Please consider joining PTA.  It is a wonderful way to stay involved at Learwood!  Please feel free to contact me with any questions or comments at 933-8957 or at olijar@centurytel.net.
