Learwood PTA
Welcome to the Learwood PTA
Thank you for your interest in supporting Learwood students. Learwood PTA is a non-profit organization comprised of parents and teachers dedicated to promoting the education and welfare of our children. We offer several programs and I invite each of you to participate. You can chaperone or sell concessions during activity night, bake for the cookie walk, send in a donation for staff appreciation week, serve ice cream to 8th graders in May, or help out promoting the Reflections Creative Arts Fair.
The Learwood PTA meets on the 2nd Thursday of each month (except no meeting in December, or over the summer.) The PTA meeting is at 9:00 a.m., usually in the Learwood cafeteria. We discuss the current and upcoming activities, recent legislation, and other community events. Usually either Ms. Ramsay, Learwood Principal, or Mr. Cocco, Asst. Principal, attend to give us updates on the curriculum or events going on at Learwood. If you can't attend a meeting, our minutes are available through the newsletter and on the website. Please consider joining PTA. It is a wonderful way to stay involved at Learwood! Please feel free to contact me with any questions or comments.
