Redwood Elementary School is known for its high academic standards and excellence in curriculum planning and design nestled in a positive, nurturing environment for children. The school opened in 1962 and is located on 14 acres of wooded property. The school was identified as a "Hall of Fame" by the Ohio Association of Elementary School Administrators for excellence in education. Redwood school has been recognized by the American Heart Association for excellence in community service stemming from our participation in the "Jump Rope for Heart Program. Redwood is the first Ohio school to be a charter member of K-Kids a student service group. A strong PTA and corps of volunteers are a hallmark of the school.
