Math - 7+ Grade

Avon Lake Curriculum Framework

Mathematics- Grade 7+

Course Overview:

Grade 7+ mathematics focuses on integers, rational numbers, fractions, proportions, percentages, probability, equivalent expressions, exponents, equations, inequalities, populations/samples and geometry. This course follows the Ohio State standards for seventh grade mathematics with additional standards from the eighth grade course material. This plus course has an increased amount of rigor and pace, including all the topics/skills from the seventh grade standards, as well as some from grade 8 state standards.
