Curriculum Framework

College Algebra & Trigonometry

Course Overview:

This course differs from Pre-Calculus in that fewer objectives and applications are required. Trigonometry and other functions are stressed. A graphing calculator is required (TI-83 or TI-84, approximate cost: $100-$110). Prerequisite: A student should have at least a “C” average or better in the previous course(s). This class meets one period daily for ½ unit of credit each semester.
