Come Celebrate With Sogbety Diomande

The students at Eastview were in for a real treat as they had a chance celebrate the end of the first semester and the kickoff to February's Black History month with a special performance by Sogbety Diomande, a traditional West African dancer and drummer.  It was followed by some special workshops for our second graders as they start up their Peace Around the World study.  Enjoy the video! full story

Monitor Our Construction Progress
The citizens of Avon Lake passed two bond issues in November 2009 to benefit the students of Avon Lake City Schools.  Renovations will be made to five of our school buildings (Eastview, Erieview, Redwood and Westview Elementary Schools and Learwood Middle School) and the Avon Lake Memorial Stadium.  The Avon Lake City Schools Bus and Maintenance Facility will also be relocated and expanded.  Please follow our construction progress by clicking on this link: www.fanninghowey.com/avonlake.  Updates will be added to this website as we move forward with our construction project.
