Orientation Night for Freshmen Parents

Fifty-four parents and students attended the Orientation Night on January 22nd, representing 31 of our incoming freshmen students. Mr. Eddleman presented course offerings and extracurricular activities available to students and shared preliminary schedule information for next year. Members of the band performed for the parents and answered many questions. Band Aids President Laurie Schaeffer offered ways for parents to participate in fund-raising and at the football concession stands. We hope that our incoming freshmen and their families feel welcome. See you next year!
Great Weekend for the Marching Shoremen

Saturday the Marching Shoremen performed in St. John Arena with the Ohio State University and Wisconsin University Bands and on Sunday performed at OMEA State Finals in Dayton. What an amazing weekend! The Marching Shoremen did a great job at the skull session and earned an excellent rating at state finals. Although it is difficult to do at state, the Marching Shoremen earned superior ratings from both general effect judges and both auxiliary judges. Go Marching Shoremen!
