Mr. Harry Pfingsten

Mr. Harry Pfingsten was director of the bands at Avon Lake High School for 27 years. Although he retired from teaching, he is not retired from making music! Mr. Pfingsten directs the Patriot Community Band from Elyria, Ohio and continues to serve OMEA as a band adjudicator. We at Avon Lake are pleased to benefit from his assistance as a consultant. He has heard our bands play on several occasions in preparation for contests and concerts. His advice is practical, to the point, and always in the interest of helping us become better performers.
